Accommodation for 2019 – we’re in sunny Lyme Regis on the Devon/ Dorset border.

In 2020 our courses will take place on our own bespoke cob building site in Uplyme, Lyme Regis. We’re perfectly located with breathtaking views, and camping and static caravan accommodation half a mile walk away, and plenty of other more luxurious accommodation options in walking distance.

Hook Farm Camping and Touring Park

On our 4 day courses, most people will stay at Hook Farm which is an easy walk away from the cob site. Of course if you have any mobility issues we can pick you up from the campsite or you can drive to us. You can choose to camp, bring your own van or hire one of the smart and very clean static caravans. The site has a shop, is close to the village pub and shop and is a stroll downhill along the river down to the beach and restaurants in glorious Lyme Regis. The camping park is quiet, clean and has wonderful views nestled in the rolling hills. If you think you might like to socialise with the other course participants in the evening then this is a great option – we get a wonderful range of friendly people on our courses from all over the UK and the world and many people make good friends on the course who they stay in touch with. Call Hook Farm on 01297 442801 or visit their website.  We recommend you book as soon as possible – its a lovely site and so it is popular and fills up fairly quickly.

The same distance from the cob site is another campsite – this is smaller and very basic but might suit you well if you are looking for complete peace and tranquility. It is called Cannington Farm. Its a very economical option too.

Other options walking distance from the course:

If camping or caravans are not for you then you might try these other options in walking distance from the cob site.

The Talbot Arms – the village pub offers B&B accommodation.

Friends of ours with Air B&B we recommend – a short drive away:

Lidyates Cottage – self catering cottage, sleeps 4, about 2 miles away. Mention you are coming on one of our cob courses to Isabel and James and they will make sure you are well looked after!

Haye Farm – self catering on an organic farm, sleeps 4., about 2 miles away. Let Emily and Harry know you are coming on our cob course and you’ll get the 5 star treatment!

Knollside – luxurious Air B&B in Uplyme (same village as the cob courses) that sleeps 2. Our friends Lizzie and Gethin who live in the main Georgian house will give you a lovely stay. It is a very short drive away or a walk away if you go cross country through the woods!

Other ideas:
