What makes us really unique, is not only can we undertake all repair work on your cob house for you; we can also give you the option of you doing it yourself after some training with us. It’s up to you, you choose how you want us to work it with you.
As well as being cob builders we also offer training in cob building to homeowners, self builders and the construction trade. So we are always at the forefront of new developments and highly experienced. Our team of cob builders is led by award-winning cob building expert Kate Edwards.

Kate Edwards has over 18 years of experience working with cob houses – repairing them, building new ones and offering consultancy to architects, builders and surveyors. This means we can guarantee a precise, professional and skilled service. We specialise in listed buildings too. We’ll use traditional materials and techniques to ensure your cob house or other cob building structure is still standing for centuries to come. We also run courses for people who would like to learn how to repair and renovate their earth houses themselves.

We’re specialist builders at repairing clay lump and earth walls of houses and barns. We also do lime renders, and lime and clay plastering.
